About the Role
The Communications Officer primary role is responsible for tasking and coordinating activities if police vehicles responding to incidents. The role also processes urgent and non-urgent telephone calls providing timely information to operational police to enable appropriate action to be taken. Successful applicants will undertake a paid training course and shift work including penalty rates.

Requirements
- Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
- Must undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check.
- Must obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
- Minimum typing speed of 35 words per minute.
- Must successfully complete a fifteen-week full-time paid Training Program.
- Must successfully complete a probation period.
