About the Role

The Senior Portfolio Analyst role offers a unique opportunity to operate at the centre of decision making within a complex and high-demand ICT environment. It combines strategic advisory, governance design, and hands-on optimisation of a large scale project and program portfolio. The successful candidate will shape and continuously improve the portfolio management framework, tools, and knowledge base that underpin NSWPF's delivery model, while providing expert advice to senior leadership on priorities, interdependencies, and emerging risks. The role also requires a strong commercial and analytical lens, ensuring initiatives are prioritised based on value and return, and that resource utilisation is optimised across the portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Operate at the centre of decision making within a complex and high-demand ICT environment.
  • Combine strategic advisory, governance design, and hands-on optimisation of a large scale project and program portfolio.
  • Shape and continuously improve the portfolio management framework, tools, and knowledge base.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leadership on priorities, interdependencies, and emerging risks.
  • Ensure initiatives are prioritised based on value and return.
  • Optimise resource utilisation across the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Must be an Australian Citizen, a permanent resident of Australia, or a New Zealand citizen.
  • Must undergo a rigorous National Police (criminal history) Check.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Security Clearance as determined by the NSW Police Force.
