About the Role
The Customer Success Manager (CSM) works directly with customers to guide them through their business journey with SAP solutions, aiming to increase customer satisfaction, retention, renewals, references, and upsells for Cloud products. The CSM acts as a strategic point of contact, overseeing key customer milestones and leveraging SAP resources to ensure overall customer health.
Responsibilities
- Successfully complete a 10-month learn-apply program, including classroom and field phases.
- Immerse in multi-dimensional learning focused on digital transformation, global intelligence, human skills, business and technology acumen, solution/industry knowledge, and strategy/tools/process.
- Enhance skills in solution portfolio management, customer retention, and value realization.
- Receive onboarding with on-the-job training and mentoring by a senior CSM professional.
- Work both behind the scenes and directly with customers.
- Upon program completion, move into a direct customer-facing CSM role with ongoing mentoring and coaching.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience supporting customers and driving business transformation, ideally in consulting or account management.
- Proven ability to deliver strategic guidance and solutions that drive customer success and long-term value.
- Experience in resolving issues and managing escalations to ensure satisfaction and business continuity.
- Cooperative and productive approach to working relationships, internally and externally.
- Strong ability to quickly learn new concepts, adapt to changing environments, and apply knowledge to deliver results.
- Understanding of AI fundamentals, uses, and ethics.
- Strong Business Acumen, including demonstrated knowledge of business processes and/or industries.
- Proficiency in English.
- AI focus areas: AI Adoption Mindset, Agentic AI Day-to-Day Practice, and Context Engineering.
- Curious and agile mindset, with a passion for learning and resilience in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and creative thinking skills.

- Knowledge in SAP Finance & Spend Management (F&S), S/4HANA Finance, Finance & Quote to Cash (Q2C), or Procurement.
- Knowledge in SAP SuccessFactors (Human Capital Management - HCM).
- Knowledge in SAP Supply Chain Management (SCM).
- Knowledge in SAP Customer Experience (CX).
- Knowledge in SAP Business Transformation Management (BTM).
- Knowledge in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) & SAP Business Data Cloud (BDC).
- Participants may spend four (4) weeks, spread across two trips, in San Ramon, California.
- Vacation will not be approved during some critical times of the program.
