About the Role
As a Transition Support Partner, you will lead business transitions across all channels, serving as a subject matter expert on LPL’s technology and operational processes. You will provide tailored training and support to ensure a seamless transition for advisors and their firms from their prior broker-dealer to LPL.
Responsibilities
- Consult with prospective advisors to devise effective transition strategies for their book of business.
- Engage internal departments as subject matter experts throughout the transition process.
- Facilitate in-depth training on LPL technology, including operational needs like account opening and asset transfers.
- Provide repapering support, including data entry, tracking account funding, and managing transition notifications.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for advisors throughout their transition.
- Navigate complex issues using critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Provide training on proprietary premium products and third-party tools.
- Support the execution of department projects and initiatives.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in financial services or a client-facing role.
- Ability to travel up to 50-60% of the time.
- Strong listening and communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust quickly.
- Proficiency in hosting webinars with strong presentation skills.
- Professional maturity and ability to self-manage.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce.
