About the Role
The Associate Transportation Specialist supports QVC and manages day-to-day transportation back-office operations by reviewing invoices, processing reimbursements and cargo claims, tracking metrics, and partnering cross-functionally to identify issues and improve processes.
Responsibilities
- Create reporting that provides meaningful insights for both leadership and analysts to support decision-making and operational visibility
- Monitor support processes to identify deviations, trends, and potential issues that may impact performance
- Escalate issues to management as needed to help improve carrier and vendor performance while reducing errors and costs
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the appropriate stakeholders to address operational challenges and drive process improvements
- Review daily metrics to identify issues and communicate findings to carriers and/or management in a timely manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's or University Degree, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years related experience; preferably in a retail or operations environment
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and/or Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
