About the Role

Wells Fargo is seeking a Fiduciary Advisory Director to oversee the development and onboarding of new business for Wells Fargo Trust in its Central Division, encompassing the Midwest and Texas regions of the United States. The Fiduciary Advisory Director will be responsible for managing an expert team of trust, estate and philanthropic specialists focused on helping high net worth and ultra-high net worth WIM clients and advisors develop and implement sophisticated estate plans, leveraging the broad capabilities of Wells Fargo Trust’s platform.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a team of Fiduciary Strategists responsible for business development and the onboarding of new and expanded client relationships for Wells Fargo Trust’s platform in the Midwest and Texas regions.
  • Drive awareness of Wells Fargo Trust’s broad capabilities throughout the Wells Fargo Advisors community, including developing relationships with divisional and market leaders.
  • Develop achievable goals for team members, in alignment with Wells Fargo Trust’s business plan, and ensure team members have the resources and guidance necessary to meet those goals.
  • Engage with centers of influence throughout the regions, including members of the legal and planning communities, to increase awareness and connectivity with Wells Fargo Trust’s service offerings.
  • Serve as a thought leader to the regions on topics relevant to the Wells Fargo Trust business, including the production of content for internal and external marketing and educational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Wells Fargo Trust leadership, risk partners and other regional leaders to ensure consistent execution and quality of service across the organization.
  • Interact directly with clients, as needed, in support of Wells Fargo Trust and the broader WIM business.
  • Identify and develop new talent in the regions to meet short- and long-term business objectives and strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of Fiduciary Advisory experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
