About the Role

Freedom Power is Texas's complete whole-house energy company, formed by the merger of Freedom Solar and Freedom HVAC. We empower homeowners with control over their energy, bills, and future through Energy Empowerment. This role allows you to be a trusted advisor, diagnosing issues and presenting solutions for smarter, more efficient home energy systems, including solar, batteries, generators, and high-efficiency HVAC, with opportunities for leadership as the company scales.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, repair, and maintain high-efficiency residential HVAC systems.
Assess customer needs during in-home consultations and present options.
Prepare proposals detailing efficiency, comfort, incentives, and financing in clear terms.
Collaborate with solar and energy specialists to design integrated whole-home systems.
Ensure all installations and service calls are code-compliant and safe.
Maintain accurate service records and customer notes.
Represent the company professionally at customer locations and with internal teams.
Contribute to the growth of the HVAC division with potential for leadership and strategy involvement.

Requirements

EPA Section 608 Certification
TDLR HVAC Certification
Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, and refrigerant systems
Strong attention to detail and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Comfortable with physical demands including stooping, kneeling, bending, standing for extended periods.
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly.
Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
