About the Role
ArsenalBio, a clinical-stage programmable cell therapy company, is seeking a talented Cell Therapy Specialist II to support cell therapy manufacturing activities. This role involves working closely with Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality, and other support functions, reporting to the Director of Manufacturing. The position requires a Tuesday to Saturday schedule and may involve on-call duties outside of regular hours.
Responsibilities
- Perform all tasks associated with GMP manufacturing of cellular products following batch records, tech transfer protocols, validation protocols, and SOPs.
- Assist in the set-up, testing, and qualification of manufacturing areas and equipment/fixtures.
- Execute GMP runs in close collaboration with Process Development, MSAT, and Quality.
- Demonstrate excellent aseptic/sterile techniques.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation following GMP principles, including production batch records and SOPs.
- Perform equipment and process qualification activities.
- Perform in-process product testing in accordance with standard procedures.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
- 2+ years of experience in the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry in a manufacturing role.
- Experience in clinical scale cell processing (such as Miltenyi CliniMACS/Prodigy and equivalent platforms) is desired.
- Experience in applying techniques learned from prior Cell Therapy experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships.
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and knowledge on the job, demonstrate productivity, and deliver high-quality results.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Ability to multitask as needed in a start-up environment.
