About the Role
Clean Scapes is the largest commercial landscaping company in Texas, known for outstanding, award-winning projects and the quality of its people. We are hiring a Maintenance Crew Member - Driver to join our hardworking, competent, and friendly team.
Responsibilities
- Execute work following the direction of Crew Leaders and Account Managers.
- Safely operate Clean Scapes vehicles, including pickup trucks, box trucks, and trucks with trailers, to transport crew members, equipment, and materials to and from jobsites.
- Load, secure, transport, and unload landscaping equipment, tools, and materials safely.
- Proficient use of various hand tools and landscaping equipment.
- Perform duties associated with commercial landscape maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with people from all backgrounds, emphasizing communication, cooperation, and teamwork.
- Take care of all equipment, materials, vehicles, trailers, and uniforms.
- Attend training classes and certifications as needed or instructed by supervisors.
- Follow Clean Scapes safety policies and guidelines, including safe driving and trailer operation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- No prior landscaping experience required; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of three (3) years of driving history required.
- Experience driving pickup trucks, box trucks, and/or trucks with trailers is preferred but not required.
- Must maintain a safe driving record.
- Reliable transportation to the office or jobsite.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- This role involves heavy lifting, manual dexterity, and various physical tasks in Texas weather conditions.
- Safety and awareness are crucial, especially when handling machinery and equipment.
