About the Role
Peregrine's value lies in unifying disconnected data sources, resolving entities, and grounding AI in a unified picture. This role focuses on making the integration layer legible, defensible, and competitive for diverse audiences. As the first Technical Product Marketer, you will build a technical marketing library from scratch for prospects, analysts, and sellers, reporting to the VP of Product Marketing.
Responsibilities
- Own technical positioning and messaging for the core platform: data unification, entity resolution, AI grounding, integration architecture, and the operational AI layer.
- Demystify the category by building first-principles content that explains the challenges of unifying operational data, resolving entities, and grounding AI, and the requirements of a suitable architecture.
- Build the technical content library for marketing and sales, including technical whitepapers, architecture briefs, security and compliance content, and AI substantiation.
- Translate competitive technical intelligence into asymmetric sales tools and teardowns against competing platforms.
- Contribute product-led narratives to high-visibility launches, focusing on technical proof points.
Requirements
- 5+ years of work experience spanning engineering, management consulting, and product marketing, with at least one primary anchor.
- Engineering background (CS degree, early-career role, or equivalent self-taught depth) enabling understanding of specs, data models, and architectural decisions.
- Management consulting experience is a strong plus, providing analytical rigor and structured problem decomposition.
- Product marketing experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, AI, or data infrastructure, with a track record of shipping impactful messaging, sales assets, or technical content.
- Exceptional writing skills for producing technical content understandable by both technical and non-technical readers.
- Comfortable moving between deep technical conversations with engineers and business outcome conversations with executives.
- Ability to build a working mental model of Peregrine's platform to defend technical claims independently.
- Ability to build trusted partnerships with Product, Engineering, Forward Deployed Engineering, Solutions Engineering, and Solutions Marketing.
- Ability to influence the product-led narrative for major launches.
