About the Role

Albert Uster Imports is seeking a Distribution Center Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will contribute to a positive company culture by maintaining upbeat morale and a "can-do" attitude. As a service-driven company, delivering on-time, complete, and error-free orders is critical for long-term success. This individual will report to the Distribution Center Manager, who determines hours and shift. General warehouse shifts fall between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Responsibilities

Accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of daily parcel orders via FedEx and UPS.
Accurate staging and palletizing of outbound LTL shipments.
Adherence to established food safety compliance and quality control procedures.
Expediting all parcel shipments on a First-In-First-Out basis, with exceptions for rush orders.
Maintaining a sanitary, clean, and organized warehouse.
Receiving inbound shipments according to Company standard operating procedure.
Putting away products in correct locations according to strict First-In-First-Out (FIFO) rules.
Participating in bi-weekly inventory cycle counts.
Repacking and labeling products.
Delivering products to customer locations in a timely manner.
Loading and unloading vehicles.
Inspecting and monitoring delivery vehicles.

Requirements

2+ years of warehouse experience.
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience in delivery driving required.
Must pass a pre-employment assessment test.
Display a positive, respectful team-oriented attitude.
Communicate effectively with all teams regarding customer and/or inventory issues.
Demonstrate safe working practices at all times.
Excellent attendance.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to multitask.
Good manual dexterity with ability to move quickly.
Ability to speak, write, and read English.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. on a frequent basis and up to 75 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to stand/walk for an entire shift.
Basic computer competency (email, Microsoft Office Suite).

Skills

Forklift experience and certification are preferred.
