About the Role

SickKids Foundation is seeking a Co-op, Activation student to actively participate in a fast-paced fundraising team. This role supports the Core Corporate Partnership Team and Community Partnerships through activations, reporting directly to the Manager, Activation.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Relationship Managers with various tasks to support fall activities and plan for upcoming events and campaigns.
  • Support campaign activities and events to help increase donor engagement.
  • Participate in store and event site visits.
  • Assist in donor stewardship projects, including collateral management, fulfilling requests, thank you calls, and partner check-ins.
  • Prepare donor correspondence and communications to support and cultivate relationships with Corporate Partners, donors, and stakeholders.
  • Participate in scripted partner weekly calls when required.
  • Assist in documenting call reports.
  • Assist with general administrative duties including mass mailings, filing, file maintenance, copying, mail/couriers, and ordering of supplies.
  • Provide additional support to Coordinators on the Corporate Partnership and Cause Marketing teams.
  • Organize and collect collateral and other supplies for Corporate Partnership and Cause Marketing teams, which may occasionally require lifting 20lbs.
  • Perform additional office duties and projects as required.

Requirements

  • Working towards a bachelor's degree or diploma, preferably in fundraising, business administration, marketing, or community development.
  • Knowledge of and experience with relational databases.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills.
  • Discretion, tact, diplomacy, and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Interest and/or experience in corporate partnerships, experiential marketing, and fundraising.
  • Ability to work well under pressure while juggling several competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
