About the Role
Independence Title, a subsidiary of Anywhere Integrated Services, is seeking Escrow Assistants of various experience levels for its Austin area offices. The Escrow Assistant plays a key role in finalizing home sales by managing various administrative and customer service tasks throughout the closing process.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the collection of information to finalize a home sale.
- Handle front-end processing and post-closing/funding tasks as required.
- Read contracts, commitments, and orders in preparation for closing.
- Assemble necessary documents to prepare the file.
- Maintain files, record documentation, send checks post-closing, and transmit documents to the lender.
- Demonstrate a good customer service attitude and respect towards customers and co-workers.
Requirements
- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of 3 years of Escrow experience required.
- Experience with RamQuest system preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail, well organized, and team oriented.
- Great communication and customer-oriented skills projecting a positive attitude required.
- Able to work proficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Microsoft Suite proficient.
