About the Role

This role performs routine responsibilities and serves as a primary point of contact for clients, working under direct supervision. The position supports coverage strategy and plan application, applying insurance principles to everyday situations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily service on assigned tasks by Producers and/or Account Executives following agency procedures.
  • Service accounts, including quote and issue policies, ID cards, proposal endorsements, certificates, claims, renewals, follow-up, and correspondence.
  • Respond to client inquiries, incoming mail, and company requests promptly.
  • Support and inform coverage plans as necessary.
  • Engage in insurance marketing and sales activities.
  • Collect renewal data on assigned accounts.
  • Provide claims support.
  • Review new/renewal policies and endorsements to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain client data accuracy in the agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC).
  • Document all activities in the agency management system (Applied Systems / EPIC).
  • Understand and utilize upload, download, and interface technology.
  • Assist other agency departments with necessary information for mutual clients.
  • Keep Producers informed of account activities, potential problems, and inform management.
  • Stay current with industry trends through educational seminars and classes.
  • Maintain knowledge of current underwriting requirements of contracted insurance carriers.
  • Maintain knowledge of policy provisions and changes.
  • Complete other assigned functions and assignments, including back-up duties.

Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty Producer License.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and be proactive.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, premiums, commissions, proportions, and percentages.
  • Ability to solve practical problems, interpret instructions, and deal with various variables.
  • Applied Systems / EPIC experience is a plus.
