About the Role
The Surety Account Manager will assist customers in identifying and providing for their bond needs, working directly with clients and carrier representatives in handling the execution and billing of bonds.
Responsibilities
- Interact with clients to address their bond-specific needs, including contract documents, bond forms, and rating and billing questions.
- Liaise with surety company representatives to manage transactional information and issues related to bond program administration, such as premium billings, rating issues, contract documents, bond forms, and bid results.
- Prepare client-specific documents like Prequalification Letters, Affidavits, and Bond Authentication Forms.
- Process billing transactions for the Accounting Department.
- Utilize the agency management system's electronic file management for surety clients, specifically SuretyWave and Applied Epic.
- Pursue ongoing professional development as applicable.
Requirements
- Possession of an insurance license for NJ or the ability to obtain one upon hire.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to perform in a deadline-driven environment.
