About the Role

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) team identifies and qualifies high-potential leads to drive business growth. This role fuels the sales pipeline, ensures excellent customer experiences, and offers professional development opportunities for aspiring account executives within a collaborative and inclusive culture.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and qualify sales leads, establishing contacts for Cisco Networking products and services.
  • Perform proactive prospecting through cold-calling, networking, and digital channels.
  • Articulate Cisco's value proposition, assess customer needs, and guide them through the sales cycle.
  • Utilize sales tools like Salesforce.com, Gong, and ZoomInfo for lead management and data integrity.
  • Collaborate with leadership to achieve sales goals and prepare for promotion to an account executive role.

Requirements

  • Completion within the past 3 years, or current enrollment with expected completion within 12 months, of a certification or degree program (e.g., Associates, Apprenticeship, Boot Camp, or Certification in a specialized program + 3 years of relevant experience, High School Diploma + 4 years of relevant experience, Bachelors + 2 years of relevant experience) or Masters + 0 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in using CRM software (e.g., Salesforce.com) and sales engagement tools.
  • Skilled in prospecting activities, including cold-calling and leveraging online information sources.
  • Understanding of sales cycles, lead qualification, and ability to articulate product and solution value propositions.
  • Authorized to legally reside and work in the country of application without visa or employer sponsorship.

Salary/Compensations

  • New York City Metro Area: $101,000.00 - $146,700.00
  • Non-Metro New York state & Washington state: $97,400.00 - $141,400.00
