About the Role

As a Procurement Manager, you will be a strategic and results-driven leader responsible for building strong supplier partnerships, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring a reliable flow of materials. You will play a significant role in sourcing raw materials, packaging, and MRO supplies while balancing cost, quality, and availability. Your expertise will be crucial in developing efficient purchasing strategies, driving value through negotiation, and supporting operational excellence. This role involves leading procurement activities across multiple categories, negotiating favorable supplier agreements, and maintaining inventory levels to support uninterrupted operations. You will collaborate closely with Finance, R&D, Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to align purchasing decisions with business goals. Your responsibilities include analyzing purchasing data, managing vendor relationships, controlling departmental spending, and identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead procurement activities across multiple categories

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Proven experience negotiating supplier agreements, pricing, delivery schedules, and contract terms to achieve business objectives
  • Strong knowledge of procurement systems, purchasing processes, inventory management, and supplier performance management
  • Advanced analytical, financial, and cost-management skills with the ability to interpret purchasing data and support pricing decisions
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Finance, Operations, Quality, R&D, and Marketing teams to support company initiatives
  • Excellent leadership, mentoring, and relationship-building capabilities combined with a talent for influencing internal and external collaborators
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software
  • Outstanding organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities

Salary/Compensations

  • $91,700.00 - $144,100.00 USD
