About the Role

As a Senior Product Manager II on the Ad Platform technology team, you will redefine TV advertising by establishing strategy and driving execution for The Walt Disney Company’s CTV automated marketplaces and programmatic business. This role requires identifying business value, solving complex problems, articulating solutions to diverse stakeholders, and driving results in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Drive product strategy and plan for the DRAX platform, including guaranteed and non-guaranteed deal types, auction mechanics, programmatic tooling, and optimizations.
  • Own product roadmap and delivery execution of programmatic initiatives, aligning stakeholders, and driving results.
  • Partner with Ad Operations, Technical Operations, and Billing to understand use cases supporting the programmatic channel.
  • Prioritize products based on value identification, cost savings, and progress against business strategy.
  • Collaborate with Business Development and Programmatic Partners to ensure marketplace alignment.
  • Maintain product specifications, backlog health, and consumable user stories for engineering partners.
  • Act as Product Owner for a Scrum team, participating in agile ceremonies, prioritization, backlog refinement, and feature definition.
  • Demonstrate a user-centric approach to problem-solving with a viewer-first mentality.
  • Evaluate and recommend investments to maximize the financial results of the product portfolio.
  • Collaborate with other product managers to drive innovation in platform services, including core ad serving, targeting, measurements, operational data store, and BI.
  • Define clear business critical metrics for setting annualized objectives and partner with GTM and financial planning to meet them.
  • Partner with the Platform Operations team to optimize the ongoing health and financial viability of the product line.
  • Partner with the Engineering organization to execute the product roadmap and deliver on business needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of product management experience, preferably from an established technology or digital media company.
  • Extensive knowledge of programmatic advertising, including SSPs, DSPs, the Open RTB framework, header bidding, and SSAI.
  • Extensive knowledge and interest in innovative solutions within the programmatic space, including AI-Driven optimizations (MCPs and Agentic Workflows), advanced targeting capabilities, standardization and interoperability frameworks (such as content metadata frameworks and deals API).
  • Proven experience and success in a product role with a demonstrated record of success.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse set of technical and non-technical partners.
  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a sophisticated, always-changing environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.

  • New York, New York: $163,100 to $218,700 per year
  • Glendale, California: $155,700 to $208,700 per year
