About the Role

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Company vehicle to deliver product to customers.
- Manually load and unload delivery trucks.
- Verify parts loaded and unloaded.
- Collect payments from customers.
- Obtain signatures from receiving locations confirming accuracy of parts.
- Deliver returned items back to the location.
- Drive in a safe, courteous, and responsible manner, avoiding traffic violations and accidents.
- Physically load Company truck and verify the condition of the truck, manifest, and other paperwork.
- Drive to delivery destinations and physically unload the truck.
- Verify parts unloaded and obtain signature of receiving location.
- Make proper notations on the manifest.
- Provide receipts on parts being returned from customers.
- Collect accounts receivable as necessary.
- Comply with established Company policies and procedures.
- Operate in compliance with applicable rules and regulations set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery/pick up of products.
- Assume other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Possess a valid driver’s license and safe driving record.
- Must qualify for Corporate insurance programs, including vehicle insurance.
- Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements.
- Must be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must comply with state and local mandated requirements as well as Department of Transportation (“DOT”) and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (“FMCSA”) regulations.
Skills
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Frequent use of Outlook, Word, Excel, graphics, etc.
- Basic messages communicated orally.
- May write brief messages and keep simple records.
- Problems encountered are routine, somewhat repetitive, and generally solved by following clear directions and procedures.
- Decisions generally affect one's own job or assigned functional area.
- Uses guidance/guidelines provided by supervisor/manager.
- Assignments/priorities provided by supervisor/manager.
- Excellent customer service skills.
