About the Role
Lead the end-to-end design of complex planning workflows that help transit agencies design, evaluate, and evolve fixed-route and demand-responsive transit networks. Partner closely with product managers, engineers, and transit professionals to transform transportation planning challenges into intuitive, map-based experiences. Drive product direction from discovery through launch by conducting customer research, exploring concepts, prototyping, and translating insights into polished experiences. Shape the future of Remix’s planning platform by identifying opportunities, creating long-term visions, and influencing roadmap decisions.

- Design sophisticated workflows for enterprise users.
- Raise the quality bar across the product through thoughtful interaction design, strong visual execution, design critiques, and contributions to our design system.
Requirements
- 7+ years designing complex SaaS, enterprise, or professional software products.
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end ownership from discovery through launch.
- Strong systems thinker with the ability to simplify ambiguous, information-dense workflows into intuitive product experiences.
- Exceptional interaction and visual design skills.
- Portfolio demonstrating thoughtful wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-quality product experiences.
- Comfortable using research, data, and experimentation to inform product direction.
- Thrive in highly collaborative environments.
- Communicate design rationale clearly, seek feedback early, and help elevate the work of others.
- Naturally curious, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity.
- Excited to explore emerging AI-powered design tools and workflows.
