About the Role
As a Store Team Member at Pet Supplies Plus, you’ll be passionate about people and their pets, providing exceptional, neighborly service. You will engage with customers, assist with product selection, educate on pet ownership, and maintain store appearance and animal care.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional, neighborly service.
- Assist neighbors in selecting appropriate products for their pets.
- Compare product ingredients for customers.
- Assist customers with fitting pets for products.
- Educate customers on pet ownership.
- Stock shelves.
- Process customer purchases.
- Feed and care for store animals.
- Maintain cleanliness of animal habitats.
- Unload delivery trucks safely.
- Carry purchases to customers' cars.
Requirements
- Must be 16 years or older.
- Must pass a drug screening (in applicable states).
- Ability to lift 40-65 lbs.
- Ability to stand for long periods.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Support team members and act as backup when needed.
- Be knowledgeable about animals and products.
- Provide outstanding neighborly service.
