About the Role

Responsible for the receipt, documentation, verification, and loading/unloading of incoming and outgoing supplies and products, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of deliveries. This role supports the company's commitment to quality and exceeding customer expectations by delivering products and components to their designated locations and assisting with daily warehouse duties.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming shipments and receive into the computer system.
  • Deliver products and move inventory to proper locations.
  • Read and answer emails, copy and file Receiving Department paperwork.
  • Process return purchase orders, pick components for jobs and issues.
  • Maintain an organized and tidy work area.
  • Assist with the delivery of furniture for the Production Department.
  • Pack and process UPS and FedEx Freight Shipments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Computer proficiency includes word processing.
  • Some analytical ability to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various administrative problems, and prioritize work.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to understand and follow safety procedures.
  • Working knowledge of computerized receiving processes, product class codes, and returns procedures.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems.
  • Ability to read, sort, check, count, and verify numbers.
  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, reach, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, and perform repetitive motions of hands or wrists.
  • Exerts in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Close mental and visual attention required to perform work dealing primarily with preparing, analyzing, and interpreting data and figures, using a computer terminal, and/or extensive reading.
  • Work is performed in a warehouse with exposure to temperature changes, noise, potential for physical injury, and proximity to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
