About the Role

Roam Trucking services/NCD services in the Convenience Store Market in the Northeast. We are headquartered in Farmingdale, NY, and are growing. We are Looking for exceptional, Class A drivers to join our team at our Farmingdale, NY Operation. The delivery service would include delivering the product to our other satellites. This is a daytime shuttle position. Routes are sent out daily, Monday through Friday, and drivers are home every day.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A Tractor/Trailer in combination safely and in compliance with DOT and state regulations.
• Commercial Truck Driver shuttle trailers to our satellites or position trailers at dock doors.

Requirements

• Class A Commercial Drivers License and current DOT medical card (REQUIRED) with clean driving record
• Excellent driving, delivery and customer service skills
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Able to work independently
• Able to lift packages up to 50 lbs. and make deliveries with a hand-truck
• Comfortable working with customers as well as sales, accounting and other department
