About the Role
The FSU Event Ambassador (St. Thomas Campus location) will provide a high level of customer service and promote FSU activities and services at all FSU events. This role involves maintaining poster boards around campus, supporting events, interacting with students and volunteers, taking pictures, and assisting with inventory organization. This is a contract position, up to 20 hours per week, with possible weekend work.
Responsibilities
- Promote FSU activities and services at all FSU Events
- Distribute promotional materials
- Remain visible and energetic on campus when promoting events
- Put up and take down posters from the FSU poster boards around the campus
- Represent FSU positively when interacting with students and volunteers
- Assist at FSU events as needed
- Take pictures at events as requested
- Assist with stocking and organizing of inventory
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be a registered Full-Time student at Fanshawe College - St. Thomas Campus
- Creative thinker
- Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work in an energetic atmosphere

- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing

- Commitment to attend all training, which includes a review of FSU Operations, FSU buildings, general protocols, and department processes.
