About the Role

At Mihomecare, every day brings new opportunities to make a genuine difference. We’re looking for Full-Time and Part-Time Care Assistants to join our passionate, dedicated team supporting service users across London.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred support that prioritises dignity, respect, and compassion.
  • Personal care (bathing, dressing, managing incontinence, toileting, and grooming).
  • Medication support (collecting prescriptions, providing reminders, and administration).
  • Meal preparation and nutrition (preparing tasty meals and mealtime assistance).
  • Mobility and equipment support (getting around safely, transfers, and using mobility aids).
  • Housekeeping (making/changing beds, laundry, tidying, light cleaning, and emptying commodes).
  • Companionship and emotional support (providing a listening ear, engaging conversations, and outings).
  • Encourage social engagement and family connections.
  • Monitor health and report any changes to healthcare professionals and family.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
  • Respond to emergencies safely and effectively.
  • Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team.

Requirements

  • No social care experience is required as full, paid training is offered.
  • Genuine compassion and respect for others.
  • Strong communication and listening skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Reliability and a caring, supportive nature.
  • The right to work in the UK.

  • Weekdays (Mon-Fri): £14.80 per hour
  • Saturdays: £15.00 per hour
  • Sundays: £15.15 per hour
  • Enhanced pay for weekends and bank holidays
