About the Role
At Mihomecare, every day brings new opportunities to make a genuine difference. We’re looking for Full-Time and Part-Time Care Assistants to join our passionate, dedicated team supporting service users across London.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, person-centred support that prioritises dignity, respect, and compassion.
- Personal care (bathing, dressing, managing incontinence, toileting, and grooming).
- Medication support (collecting prescriptions, providing reminders, and administration).
- Meal preparation and nutrition (preparing tasty meals and mealtime assistance).
- Mobility and equipment support (getting around safely, transfers, and using mobility aids).
- Housekeeping (making/changing beds, laundry, tidying, light cleaning, and emptying commodes).
- Companionship and emotional support (providing a listening ear, engaging conversations, and outings).
- Encourage social engagement and family connections.
- Monitor health and report any changes to healthcare professionals and family.
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
- Respond to emergencies safely and effectively.
- Work collaboratively with families and the wider care team.
Requirements
- No social care experience is required as full, paid training is offered.
- Genuine compassion and respect for others.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- A positive, can-do attitude.
- Problem-solving abilities.
- Reliability and a caring, supportive nature.

- Weekdays (Mon-Fri): £14.80 per hour
- Saturdays: £15.00 per hour
- Sundays: £15.15 per hour
