About the Role

You will support the Compliance team in ensuring group-wide compliance and the Legal team in daily legal work. In addition to these exciting tasks, you will gain many insights into the broad field of a compliance function and the interesting daily work of the legal department.

Responsibilities

• Support in the implementation of regulatory projects, e.g., for requirements from CS3D, the German Supply Chain Due Diligence Act (LkSG), and other specific legal requirements.
• Participation in the coordination of our local compliance units, the execution of compliance risk analyses, and the screening of sanctions lists.
• Support in the creation of internal reports, presentations, and in group-wide policy management.
• Conducting research in various areas of German law, EU law, and other relevant legal systems.
• Assistance with tasks in contract management as well as participation in the creation of legal documents, contracts, and the review of legal issues.

Requirements

• Enrolled student at a state-recognized university with at least two completed semesters throughout the entire duration of employment.
• Ideally, initial practical experience through internships and a strong interest in compliance and legal topics.
• Thorough, independent, and meticulous way of working.
• Open communication style and the ability to operate successfully in an international environment.
• Cooperative attitude for quick integration into the team, combined with high analytical ability and organizational talent.
• Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
