About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Operations Coordinator, Onboarding (Contract) is responsible for coordinating a seamless, efficient, and welcoming onboarding experience for new employees. This role partners with various departments to ensure new hires are prepared for a successful start and receive a consistent, high-quality onboarding experience. This position supports onboarding operations and contributes to strengthening the program.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires from offer acceptance through first day, ensuring timely completion of required tasks and documentation.
- Plan, coordinate, and facilitate New Employee Orientation sessions, including scheduling, logistics, materials, and coordination with presenters.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires throughout the onboarding process, providing timely communication, guidance, and support.
- Monitor onboarding activities to ensure compliance with organizational policies and pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain onboarding procedures, standard operating procedures, templates, training materials, and other operational documentation.
- Become an expert in the new hire platform, Jobvite Onboarded, to track onboarding activities and maintain operational records.
- Develop a thorough understanding of onboarding processes and contribute recommendations to improve the efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness of the onboarding program.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- A minimum of two (2) years of professional experience supporting Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, recruiting coordination, employee onboarding, customer service, hospitality, operations, or another role requiring coordination of multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience coordinating multiple priorities, projects, or operational processes while maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Skills
- Experience coordinating employee onboarding, orientation programs, recruiting operations, or other customer-facing operational programs.
- Working knowledge of e-Verify, applicant tracking systems, human resources information systems, onboarding platforms, or similar workflow management systems.
- Demonstrated ability to remain organized, adapt quickly, and provide exceptional customer service while managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with employees, hiring managers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify and resolve operational issues while maintaining a positive employee experience.
