About the Role
This role focuses on identifying and nurturing employee skills and potential within the operating group. The Talent and Development Lead will design, implement, and deliver talent development programs, while collaborating across the group to support succession planning, employee engagement, and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive talent strategy with clear goals, skills, and expected outcomes.
- Design, implement, deliver, and evaluate training programs to address skill gaps and growth topics.
- Coordinate end-to-end Talent Review activities across the Operating group.
- Partner with Senior Leaders & HRBPs to drive the succession planning agenda and talent mobility.
- Ensure visibility of technical expert and client-facing talent, designing programs to support their development.
- Act as lead for coordinating consistent performance management processes.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and employee engagement, promoting initiatives that enhance job satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure programs align with the group DEI calendar and develop the annual plan for DEI initiatives.
- Track learning hours and utilize data analytics to assess program effectiveness and make recommendations.
- Collaborate with HR Directors, regional L&D roles, department heads, and senior leadership.
- Participate in L&D network meetings and collaborate on HR Group projects related to Learning, Development, and DEI.
- Provide content for a monthly "People initiatives" communication for the Global HR newsletter.
Requirements
- Extensive business and HR experience.
- Ability to build good working relationships while maintaining professional perspective.
- Experience in Employee Relations (collective and individual).
- Experienced in all HR disciplines and ability to work independently.
- Ability to operate at strategic, tactical, and operational levels with a high degree of autonomy.
- Ability to work in a matrix environment and build excellent relationships with local HR networks and HRSSCs.
- Experience with HRIS SuccessFactors is essential.
- Potential to grow and continue to develop in HR and leadership.
- Must be able to adhere to the BV Absolutes, role model the BV Values, and live up to the BV Leadership Expectations.
