About the Role

Responsibilities

  • Performs inspections and preventative maintenance on building and production machinery and equipment, including but not limited to Compressors, Pumps, Motors, Gear Drives, Welders Positioners, Power Rolls, Cranes, Hoists, Manual/CNC Lathes, Manual/CNC Drills/Machining Centers, Grinding Machines, Drill Sharpeners, Spray Painting Systems, Shot/Sandblasters, Oil Flush Systems, Oil Test Systems, Tube Cutters, Presses, Lighting Systems, Dust Collectors, Shears, Burning Machines, Saws, Tube Expanders, Conveyor Systems, Fork Trucks, and other Lifting.
  • Performs minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, cleaning and replacing filters, adding grease or oil, and repairing/replacing electrical cords and air/gas lines.
  • Performs operational checks on machinery and equipment, with exceptions for CNC Equipment, Welders, Burning Machines, and Shot Blasters unless specific working knowledge is possessed.
  • Makes repairs on pneumatic type tools.
  • Assists other Maintenance Department classifications as needed.
  • Performs snow plowing/removal with company-supplied equipment, including salting or de-icing parking lots and sidewalks as required.
  • Performs Facilities Maintenance duties to cover vacation or other necessary absences.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • Some experience required in a manufacturing setting.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Regularly engage in climbing and working from heights.
  • Must possess necessary standard tools, including wrenches, sockets, pliers, hammers, and screwdrivers.

Salary/Compensations

  • $27.29/hour starting wage, increasing to $29.58 after one year, plus a $1.50 shift differential.
