About the Role
We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team at Endodontic Specialists – Bay Street, providing exceptional endodontic care in a professional, patient-focused environment. Our team specializes in root canal therapy and advanced endodontic procedures, utilizing the latest technology and techniques to deliver comfortable, efficient, and high-quality care.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment
- Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments, maintaining patient comfort and workflow
- Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
- Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards
- Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care
- Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
- Establish strong patient relationships while maintaining ethical professional behaviour
Requirements
- Registered and/or Certified as a Dental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or association is required
- Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada
