About the Role

This role involves creating and executing test scenarios and cases to ensure software quality, analyzing test results, and working with defined testing tools and processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the testing requirements and design reviews, including overseeing the work of testing teams.
  • Create and execute moderate to complex test scenarios and cases.
  • Track and monitor defects.
  • Report testing status via test summary and defect reporting.
  • Support specific applications that may support a specific line of business (LOB), channel or other business function.
  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) from a software testing perspective for applications in assigned portfolio.
  • Collaborate with other LOBs and Tech partners to ensure software quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent education and related training.
  • Six years of experience in testing and quality assurance processes.
  • Working knowledge of test management tools, such as HP Application Lifecycle Management or Quality Center.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
  • Understand business, functional and technical aspects of applications in assigned portfolio.
  • Understand application landscape (e.g. application architecture, physical and logical deployment, interfaces, dependencies) for applications in assigned portfolio.
