About the Role
The Clinical Manager is responsible for patient care in an assigned location/region, supervising administrative and clinical tasks, and supporting school staff with students exhibiting behavior challenges. This role involves developing intervention plans, conducting trainings, analyzing outcomes, and assessing behavioral needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct behavioral services to clients in individual and school settings.
- Provide supervision to clients in individual and school settings.
- Conduct behavioral and skills assessments and design treatment programs.
- Facilitate clinical case review team meetings.
- Review and approve treatment plans and reports from BCBAs, or create them if needed.
- Collect and graph data using technological programs like Microsoft Excel or behavioral software.
- Observe and supervise BCBAs, mid-levels, and BTs/RBTs regularly.
- Maintain client respect and confidentiality.
- Stay current with professional knowledge through workshops, publications, networking, and societies.
- Present client progress data at IEP meetings and other external meetings.
- Conduct and develop crisis management trainings.
- Facilitate and develop staff development and onboarding trainings.
- Serve as the Ethics and/or Compliance Officer.
- Serve as the liaison between parents/guardians, teachers, school administrators, and clinicians.
- Monitor staff billable hours to maximize client treatment hours.
- Conduct performance reviews of all clinical staff.
- Maintain and protect client well-being during treatment and crisis situations.
- Collaborate with a diverse team to provide optimal behavioral services.
- Attend staff trainings and agency meetings.
- Design clinical processes and procedures for the organization.
- Manage and assign caseloads and schedules.
- Monitor regional metrics such as productivity and profitability.
- Assess employee performance and provide constructive discipline.
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee patient care services.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Behavioral Services.
Requirements
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults with various special needs.

- Perform general clerical duties including maintaining accurate client records and preparing clear and concise reports
- Communicate effectively in both oral and written form with a diverse group of clients, parents/caregivers, school personnel, and other agency staff
- Use a computer and behavioral software to prepare documents and maintain client records
- Work independently and make decisions within the framework of established guidelines
