About the Role

The OneTech Security Product Management team at Aurora embeds security into all aspects of Aurora's products, including software, hardware, and services. As a Staff Technical Product & Program Manager, Security, you will drive security strategy and initiatives across the organization, ensuring security is a fundamental part of the product development process. You will bridge Security and Product teams, managing high-level strategy and detailed execution to integrate complex, cross-functional security into products, safeguarding them and ensuring they meet the highest security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product management, Software and Hardware Development, engineering, and security teams to define security features, assess product risks, prioritize security initiatives, create business and technical use cases, and implement strategic controls.
  • Engage with hardware and software suppliers and Tier1 development partners to define and align on cybersecurity features, drive their timely delivery, and ensure contributions meet Aurora’s security standards.
  • Develop high-level roadmaps and plans (Business and Technical) with product and engineering leads, highlighting cross-functional dependencies and critical paths.
  • Develop and execute security assurance, governance, and risk management programs embedded into all phases of product development.
  • Define and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to product and security risks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in Technical Product, Program or Product Management role, in the automotive or AV domain preferred and also cybersecurity experience.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience developing product strategies, building product use cases, leading large-scale programs with an emphasis on project management, requirements management, and integrating hardware and software features into complex products.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional product teams.
  • Hands-on experience participating and directing product development.
