About the Role
Meadow View Nursing Center is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN Supervisor) for their overnight shift (7pm-7:30 am) to join a collaborative team providing a full range of nursing and rehabilitation services. The role emphasizes a team-based approach to patient care in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper medical management of each resident.
- Act as a liaison between physicians, hospitals, family members, and other medical personnel to ensure the resident's plan of care is followed.
- Conduct daily resident visits to observe and evaluate physical and emotional status.
- Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines for long-term care facilities.
- Supervise other nursing service personnel.
- Ensure medication passes and scheduled treatments are administered as ordered by the physician.
- Demonstrate the ability to think independently, supervise staff, and work as a team member for the good of the resident.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
- Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
- Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems.
