About the Role
Dover Street Market is seeking an experienced General Space Specialist to cultivate and maintain client relationships, introduce the space to clientele, and provide exceptional customer service to meet financial targets.
Responsibilities
- Act as a general brand ambassador with expertise in brands, space, and product.
- Ensure the highest levels of customer service.
- Engage with the wider store team/VIP team through dedicated styling packs, tailoring materials for various client profiles.
- Liaise with the Merchandise team, providing buying feedback and maintaining weekly correspondence with buyers.
- Maintain VMD/Replenishment/BOH standards and ensure the store team understands expectations.
- Achieve sales performance targets (individual/space).
- Host or support brand-specific events.
- Complete EOD Reporting.
- Participate in staff training and product update presentations.
Requirements
- At least 3 years in high-end/luxury retail or relevant brand experience is advantageous.
- Specific understanding of DSM and CDG brands, aesthetic, and consumer.
- Ability to clientele at a high level and set an example for the DSM sales team.
- Specific understanding of all collections and stock availability at DSM.
- Experience with similar brands is preferential.
- Possess a client book of potential new business for DSM.
- Knowledge of Retail Pro is not essential.
