About the Role
We are seeking a story crafter to own and communicate the narrative of our AI product. This role involves extracting the story from the founder and product, refining it with a unique perspective, and expressing it through compelling visuals, including motion and film.
Responsibilities
- Own the narrative of Sauna in the world, extracting and refining the story from the founder and product.
- Tell the story in visuals, finding the human reason for engagement and creating impactful motion content.
- Manage motion and video production end-to-end, including concept, shoot, motion design, editing, and publishing.
- Oversee Instagram and social media presence, setting and maintaining visual and editorial direction.
- Build repeatable creative pipelines and systems for high-volume, high-quality content output.
Requirements
- Must be based in the Bay Area or willing to relocate.
- Requires US work authorization; O-1 or J-1 visa sponsorship considered for exceptional candidates.
- Ability to craft stories that resonate and have a proven track record of successful content.
- Proficiency in motion design, including HTML/CSS/code in addition to traditional tools like After Effects/C4D/Blender.
- Experience as a creator or director of video content, understanding what makes videos successful.
- Experience building creative pipelines with AI tooling, such as Claude Code.
- Ability to take an idea from conception to publication independently.
