About the Role
Take responsibility for demanding civil engineering projects with a high degree of personal accountability, rather than corporate bureaucracy. Responsibilities
- Responsibility for the timely, quality, and cost-effective execution of civil engineering projects.
- Technical preparation of construction sites, including checking documents, permits, and site setup.
- Coordination of subcontractors and all involved trades on the construction site.
- Liaison with clients and representation of the company in meetings.
- Creation of daily construction reports, measurements, and photographic documentation.
- Responsibility for cost and change order management, invoice verification, and performance assessment.
- Technical leadership of site personnel and ensuring compliance with occupational safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
Requirements
- Completed training as a construction technician or a technical apprenticeship with relevant professional experience.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience as a construction manager or in a comparable role in civil engineering, concrete construction, reinforced concrete construction, structural engineering, bridge construction, or general civil engineering.
- Proficient knowledge of VOB (Verdingungsordnung für Bauleistungen) in practical application.
- Proficient use of construction-specific software and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Proficiency in spoken and written German.
- Possession of a Class B driver's license.
