About the Role

Eucalyptus is seeking a talented Senior Product Designer passionate about health and excited about building our expanding healthcare platform. You will work in dynamic environments, solve complex problems, and create thoughtful, user-centered design solutions that make a real impact.

Responsibilities

  • Own a problem area across connected surfaces, from definition to delivery.
  • Research, design, write, test, measure, and iterate on solutions without waiting for a spec.
  • Drive commercial outcomes on your surface, including activation, conversion through regulated intake, retention, and adherence.
  • Create designs that build trust and hold up in a regulated market.
  • Work end to end, from problem definition and research to information architecture and UX writing.
  • Conduct your own research and usability testing.
  • Set up and honestly read validation and experimentation, including A/B tests.
  • Perform UX writing, balancing craft and compliance in a regulated market.
  • Define problems, break them down, and package them back up.

Requirements

  • Typically 5 to 8 years in product design.
  • Track record of owning problems end to end.
  • Experience influencing direction at a team level.
  • Ability to shape the problem, not just the pixels, using research, data, and input from others.
  • Demonstrated visual craft, including typography, spacing, color, motion, and micro-interactions used with intent.
  • Inclusive design practices without being asked.
  • Systems thinking to design across surfaces and contribute to a design system.
  • Product and commercial sense, shaping what gets built with an awareness of metrics, research, and commercial factors.
  • Clear, specific, and opinionated communication skills.
  • Experience working in the open, sharing early and often, and using critique to sharpen work.
  • LLMs embedded in workflow, prototyping in tools like Claude Code and Cursor.
  • Patient-first mindset, prioritizing patient outcomes and balancing commercial growth with clinical safety and care.
  • Collaborative creation, working well across product, engineering, and clinical teams.
  • Curiosity, asking why before how, and staying curious about the patient, the problem, and the tools used.
