About the Role
Build a visionary Computer Science department from the ground up at St. Michael’s Catholic Preparatory School, shaping how students engage with AI, robotics, and technology.
Responsibilities
- Lead the Computer Science & Technology program across grades 9–12
- Design and implement forward-thinking curriculum in areas like Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Python, JavaScript, and Game Design, Web & App Development, Data Science
- Collaborate with school leadership to align tech strategy with future-ready education
- Full-time Program lead with teaching load (4–5 sections)
- Advisory and department leadership duties included
Requirements
- Deeply knowledgeable in CS and emerging technologies
- Builder and systems thinker with a passion for curriculum and leadership
- Fluent in AI, ML, software development, and ethical tech
- Collaborative, servant leader who inspires young minds
- Love for building programs and confidence in students
- See teaching as coaching, inspiring, and leading
- Possess at least a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Experience teaching or mentoring students
- Background in tech startups or engineering
