About the Role

Hematology Oncology Associates of CNY (HOACNY) is seeking a full-time Oncology Pharmacist to join their professional team. This role involves organizing, coordinating, and supervising all aspects of infusion and dispensing pharmacy services, including managing antineoplastic drugs, assessing medication orders, and monitoring patient responses to therapy.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees, prepares, or dispenses commercially available and investigational antineoplastic drugs.
  • Assesses medication orders.
  • Assists with patient care activities including planning, updating, and implementing antineoplastic and antiemetic drug regimens.
  • Monitors patients’ response to drug therapy and fluid and pain control medications.
  • Recommends changes or alternative therapy.
  • Provides drug-related information.

Requirements

  • Three years of related experience preferred.
  • NYS pharmacist license required.
  • Oncology Experience Preferred.

Location

  • East Syracuse

Work Type

  • Full-time
  • Monday through Friday, day hours

Experience Level

  • 3 years preferred

Education Level

  • Pharm.D. or Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from an accredited college
