About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and observant Community Patrol Officer to enhance the safety and security of our residential and commercial properties. Your focus will be on customer service, conflict de-escalation, and maintaining a safe environment through vigilance and proactive communication.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols to monitor premises for safety and security concerns.
• Observe, document, and report any unusual activity, maintenance issues, or safety hazards.
• Provide assistance to residents, guests, and employees, including offering directions and responding to inquiries.
• Enforce community rules and policies professionally and respectfully.
• De-escalate conflicts and handle minor disturbances, contacting emergency services when necessary.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain a detailed log of daily activities and incidents.
• Assist in emergency situations, including fire alarms, medical emergencies, and evacuations.
• Conduct security checks on doors, windows, and access points to ensure property integrity.

Requirements

• Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or customer service preferred.
• Strong observational and communication skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Knowledge of de-escalation techniques and conflict resolution strategies.
• Must be able to walk, stand, and drive for extended periods.
