About the Role
This 12-month contract role provides Maternity Leave cover for the existing Senior DA Analyst, supporting the smooth and effective running of Delegated Authority (DA) Processes at Hiscox. The role involves overseeing and supporting the DA Analyst and DA Technician, assisting with query resolution, monitoring workflow, approving contract endorsements, actioning post-approval changes, reviewing DCOM entries, and conducting quarterly DA Controls reviews. It requires a deep understanding of Lloyd’s regulatory framework and Delegated Authority processes, analytical skills, and relationship management abilities.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the DA Analyst and Technician.
- Provide absence/surge cover for the DA Analyst and Technician.
- Assist with query resolution.
- Monitor and manage workflow.
- Review endorsements.
- Process Post Approval Changes.
- Review Lead DCOM entries.
- Produce monthly and quarterly reports.
- Conduct quarterly DA Controls Reviews.
- Monitor performance against Hiscox DA requirements, investigate non-adherence, and report findings.
- Promote business engagement with DA Requirements.
- Communicate with others to provide updates, gather feedback, or address concerns.
- Continuously improve processes and practices.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
- Experience in a technical delegated authority role within the Lloyd’s Market.
- Practical experience conducting Lloyd’s Coverholder due diligence.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
- Courage to ask questions to ensure understanding of requirements.
