About the Role
The Nursing & Allied Health Division is seeking qualified, student-centered educators to join its adjunct faculty. Adjunct faculty may be assigned to teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical courses in a variety of instructional settings. Course assignments are based on departmental needs, enrollment, instructor qualifications, and clinical placement availability. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to student success, evidence-based practice, inclusive teaching, and excellence in healthcare education.
Responsibilities
- Teach lecture, laboratory, and clinical courses in a variety of instructional settings.
Requirements
- A current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license is required for nursing faculty positions.
- Expertise in registered nursing, practical nursing, and allied health disciplines.
- Meet applicable accreditation requirements and New York State Education Department regulations governing nursing faculty.
- Clinical faculty must meet all requirements established by affiliated healthcare agencies.
- Submit application, cover letter, résumé or curriculum vitae, unofficial transcripts, and proof of current RN licensure (if applicable).
