About the Role
Join our European Robotics Surgical Team as a trainer and educator for surgeons, first assistants, and OR staff, advancing patient care with the Medtronic Hugo RAS robot. This role involves high-level technical training and support for clinical education programs in a dynamic, international environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver education and training on the Medtronic Hugo Robotic Assisted Surgery technology for General Surgery, Urology, and Gynaecology.
- Provide technical training and support laboratory sessions and hands-on workshops.
- Apply a structured teaching methodology to assess trainee efficiency and safety.
- Master the robotic surgery ecosystem, including surgical equipment, instruments, and digital infrastructure.
- Collaborate with Sales, Clinical teams, Medical Affairs, and surgical proctors to prepare training programs.
- Develop expertise in RAS System Technology, applications, OR Efficiency, Training Pathway process, and training techniques.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- +5 years of experience in training, field sales, sales support, or a clinical/technical role within the medical device or healthcare industry.
- Medical device experience with Laparoscopic and/or Robotic Assisted Surgery technologies.
- Clinical and/or operating room experience.
- Proven experience and/or training mindset.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English.
- High capacity and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate product and procedure-based technical education and training using blended learning solutions.
- Positive mindset, team player with a professional work ethic.
- Willingness to travel 75% of the time.
