About the Role
This position provides leadership and management for the facilities organization, ensuring the day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, and programs for a well-managed and maintained building. The role emphasizes a positive response to tenant concerns, environmental health and safety, and quality programs in alignment with client goals.
Responsibilities
- Ensure day-to-day operations of multi-site facilities, including hard services, life-safety, engineering, site services, appliances, and general maintenance, consistent with C&W policies and client directives.
- Act as the primary client point of contact, responding professionally and promptly to requests.
- Supervise all maintenance programs and work orders for interior and exterior site conditions.
- Oversee and drive the implementation of contract programs to assess occupant needs and solve problems promptly.
- Prepare, review, and approve budgets, accruals, variances, financial reports, contracts, purchase orders, and expenditures.
- Coordinate the preparation and publication of the annual budget, quarterly reforecast, and business plans.
- Conduct regularly scheduled site inspections and track improvements.
- Assist with the creation and execution of regional and account level standardization programs and procedures.
- Hire, train, and motivate facility personnel, maintain positive staff relations, and conduct performance evaluations.
- Be thoroughly familiar with the service agreement and all its requirements.
- Manage all contracts, ensuring regular review, bidding as required, and verifying invoice accuracy.
- Assist in the development of capital budgets, including contributions to a five-year plan for maintenance, facility improvement, and cost reduction.
- Collect, analyze, and report statistical data for facility management objectives.
- Monitor vendor compliance with dress code and insurance requirements, and coordinate claims and access.
- Ensure all site-specific documentation and reports are completed accurately and on time.
Requirements
- Ability to read and understand construction specifications and blueprints.
- Proficient in understanding management agreements and contract language.
- Strong literacy in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong discipline of financial management including financial tracking, budgeting and forecasting.
- Knowledge of Financial Systems (Yardi a plus).
- Skilled in Building Management Systems maintenance and monitoring.

Experience Level
- 5-7 years of commercial high-rise, campus environment, and/or property portfolio management experience required
- Experience in commercial office facilities building management preferred
- Experience with professional office environments desired
- Experience with client relationship management preferred
- Experience in the development and implementation of programs to drive out cost inefficiencies preferred
- CMMS/Work Order Management experience preferred (Corrigo a plus)
- Experience with multiple site management experience preferred
Education Level
- Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Corporate Real Estate, Project Management, or Business Administration preferred
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM), International Facilities Management Association (IFMA), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) industry certifications recommended
- Other Engineering, Business or technical training or certifications preferred
Salary/Compensations
- $123,250.00 - $145,000.00
