About the Role

Corpay is seeking a Strategy Manager - Finance, Credit & Business Process Improvement to drive strategic initiatives that accelerate business growth, optimize financial performance, and transform commercial credit and business processes. This role involves collaborating with senior leaders across various departments and reporting to the VP Risk UK, Europe & ANZ.

Responsibilities

  • Assess Finance, Credit, Fraud, and adjacent business processes to identify strategic improvement opportunities.
  • Map current-state workflows and identify bottlenecks, manual activities, duplicate processes, operational risks, dependencies, control gaps, and pain points.
  • Conduct process analysis through stakeholder interviews, operational data, and business insights.
  • Develop strategic transformation roadmaps, defining initiatives, priorities, sequencing, ownership, governance, dependencies, and investment considerations.
  • Prepare business cases and executive-level recommendations.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and strategic decision-making.
  • Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce manual effort, strengthen governance, and improve stakeholder experience.
  • Support the delivery of strategic initiatives by defining requirements, assisting with prioritization, monitoring governance, tracking benefits, escalating risks, and supporting change adoption.
  • Establish performance metrics, governance frameworks, and reporting mechanisms.
  • Monitor progress against transformation roadmaps, ensuring alignment with business priorities and milestones.
  • Track and report realised business benefits, operational improvements, and key performance indicators.
  • Influence senior stakeholders by presenting clear analysis, strategic recommendations, and actionable insights.
  • Drive continuous improvement across Finance, Credit, Fraud, and related business functions.

Requirements

  • Typically 5-8+ years of experience in strategy, transformation, consulting, finance or credit operations improvement, risk strategy, business analysis, or operational excellence.
  • Experience with business strategy, operating model review, and process improvement methods across Finance, Credit, Operations, or comparable B2B environments.
  • Ability to map end-to-end processes, identify friction points and control gaps, quantify opportunities, and translate findings into a practical roadmap.
  • Strong analytical foundations, including using data to size issues, validate hypotheses, prioritize work, build business cases, and measure impact.
  • Working knowledge of credit, finance, risk, and operational workflows.
  • Structured, strategic problem-solving skills with the ability to move from ambiguity to clear options and practical recommendations.
  • Commercially aware and pragmatic judgement, balancing value, risk, control, cost, customer experience, and implementation feasibility.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including confidence to challenge constructively and build alignment across senior audiences.
  • Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-moving, cross-functional environment, with a bias to action and disciplined follow-through.
