About the Role
Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Study Team Associate to support all study management roles within Clinical Operations. This role involves tasks across screening, study conduct, and data entry phases of clinical trials, including conducting screening sessions, coordinating participant visits, and performing team-related procedures. The position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work that impacts global health outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Support all study management roles within Clinical Operations.
- Perform tasks within the screening, study conduct, and data entry phases of trials.
- Conduct screening sessions and provide Informed Consent as delegated.
- Coordinate and perform tasks for checking in, checking out, and conducting outpatient visits for participants.
- Perform a variety of team-related procedures.
- Support team members within their own study team and other study teams.
- Fulfill all training expectations associated with tasks supporting clinical trials.
- Serve as back up for study primaries in Enrollment, Coordinating, and Data Entry positions.
- Complete administrative tasks such as preparing, reviewing, and verifying source documents.
- Coordinate management of supplies for upcoming visits.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous applicable experience providing the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 2 years).
- Demonstrated ability handling multiple responsibilities and completion of projects with overlapping prioritization.
- Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office and the ability to learn various programs and/or data management or electronic source systems.
- Ability to clearly explain information to a wide variety of individuals.
- Ability to work closely with multiple types of individuals in potentially difficult or uncomfortable settings.
- Strong attention to detail with strong planning and organization capabilities.
- Effective time-management.
- Ability to communicate need for assistance.
- Work is performed in an office or clinical environment.
- Frequent long hours, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Exposure to blood and biohazardous waste.
- Be available by cell phone after hours.
- Potential occasional travel required.
