About the Role

This position supports the Multi-Vendor Biomedical business by installing, troubleshooting, and servicing Biomedical Equipment at customer sites, focusing on customer relationship management through technical expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and service repair on equipment utilizing the service manual, OJT, OEM or 3rd Party training.
  • Identify and resolve customer issues, providing appropriate communication and involving appropriate site service personnel.
  • Establish priorities by assessing those communicated by the Site Manager, Site Team, or customer.
  • Independently complete PMs, FCOs, installations, and all related tasks.
  • Independently diagnose, resolve electronic, network, and mechanical problems.
  • Resolve customer issues.
  • Work flexible hours based on business needs, including overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations.
  • Safely work with radiation sources and/or radioactive materials.
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment.
  • Travel when needed to Accounts located within the area.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment.
  • General biomedical, patient monitoring, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators, or infusion pump experience highly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors and computer hardware including applications, programming, and systems functionality.
  • Ability to understand and apply electronic, mechanical, and networking theory to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
  • Knowledge and use of all necessary tools and test equipment is required.
  • Must be able to successfully perform minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.
  • US work authorization is a precondition of employment.

Salary/Compensations

  • Hourly pay range: $30.00 to $46.00, plus overtime eligible.
