About the Role

The On Wing Support Technician will provide quick-turn aircraft engine maintenance, repair, and field services, primarily based within a small dynamic team in the London Heathrow area. In this role, you will troubleshoot, perform field repairs, and conduct line maintenance while building positive relationships with customers through outstanding customer awareness and service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide quick-turn aircraft engine shop visits, repair, and field services.
  • Troubleshoot aircraft engines.
  • Perform field repairs.
  • Conduct line maintenance.
  • Build strong customer relationships through effective communication and understanding of customer perspectives.
  • Take ownership of and follow through on the full scope of work tasks and projects.
  • Focus on the needs of customers, always delivering with precision and care.
  • Act with humility and lead with transparency at all times.

Requirements

  • Completed a formal engineering apprenticeship or relevant industry experience within a technically complex industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to effectively interpret detailed documented work instructions.
  • Team player with flexible approach and a positive attitude.
  • Ability and willingness to travel on short notice to domestic and international locations to perform maintenance of GE/CFM commercial engines.
  • Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required and must be maintained for this role.
