About the Role

Design and develop software solutions focused on data transformations, with a primary emphasis on iFast client migrations. Collaborate directly with clients and Project Managers to build strong relationships and continuously improve client satisfaction and onboarding processes. Support project planning by preparing high-level statements of work (SOW) estimates and contributing to early-stage project analysis. Identify functionality gaps and help define high-level solution design, architecture direction, and implementation approach. Provide subject matter expertise in application architecture and deliver technical guidance aligned with business strategies. Lead Agile activities, including sprint planning and daily scrums, while reviewing system and application documentation to ensure quality and consistency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 10+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in application architecture and 5+ years in software design and development.
  • Strong expertise in structured and object-oriented programming, along with advanced knowledge of relational databases and SQL.
  • Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and proven experience in effort estimation and solution planning.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and negotiate client requirements, paired with strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal in English).
  • Experience in financial services or mutual fund applications is considered an asset.
  • Experience working in Agile environments.
  • Familiarity with the iFast application.
  • Exposure to technologies such as OpenEdge ABL, C#, or JEE.
  • Must be legally eligible to work at the specified location(s).
  • Must be able to provide a valid work or study permit, if selected for an interview.
